Hello All,

A spa city is just what i needed and Budapest is the just the place for it. Hungary is famous for its natural springs, lakes and spas that have for centuries been used medicinally. These so called health and wellness centres are major attractions, so after arriving my first stop was of course the Gellert Hotel Baths. There is a process to the way you must bathe too i was repeatedly told by the old woman whos job it was to assign lockers. First you need to dip into the sulfur baths, then the outdoor pool which is kept at 38 degrees, then you slowly move through a series of pools of varying temperatures, then its into the sauna and finally into a pool full of ice to finish. Most people usually laze around for a while amd then go for it again, so the guys i was with spent the day there going round and round.

In the city i have seen hardly any pigeons, i asked a local and found out it is rumoured that the city authorities have contraceptive pills ground up in the bird food. This was the same local i saw staring at me and wondered why, i soon realised that with my iriver playing at full volume my head was doing its own little jive and my feet had broken into the hot shoe shuffle. I have been caught so many times in my own world.

Where will i go next? I'm not sure. When i've had enough of Budapest and its Baths i'll pull out my map of Europe and decide.

Until next time, remember to be winners and not sinners!
