Feliz Navidad! Christmas was wonderful. Although, I have to admit, it never really felt like Christmas. I think the beautiful weather and spending all day on the beach wasn't what I was used to. But I loved it! I woke up and headed straight to the shore. It was only a 10 minute walk from my hostel. I spent hours just sitting in the sun, and when I needed to get up and do something, I would just walk to the next bench. I didn't have a care in the world. Then, at around 2, I heard some great marimba music playing, and ended up at this bar for a liquid lunch! Coronas two for one, and great entertainment! And of course, after a few beers, it was time to head back for a little siesta! I set my alarm so I could get back to the beach for sunsets. Being from New York, and only vacationing on the East Coast, I still get a kick out of sunsets at the shore. After dozens of photos and a long walk on the beach, I decided it was time for a burrito and a couple tacos, as well as a little more to drink. The meal was great, except one of the things I ordered from the a la carte menu was a fish taco. And it was nasty! That's right...you can quote me. I HATE FISH TACOS! But everything else was divine! Even the chips and salsa were amazing!
I headed back to the hotel and spent a long time watching more fireworks on the roof with Andre. Then off to bed in my lovely, 5-star, sleeping chamber. Buenos Noches.

I found this looking for pictures of Tijuana at Christmas...and even though this was 5 years ago, I loved it. This traveler went to places I wouldn't dare to go or stay...and I was born and raised in Tijuana, I think he did pretty amazing...Feliz Navidad!!!!
