Everyday is market day in Ljubljana but they bust it out on Saturday! Every stall in the Central Market was filled and the place was packed. They even had entertainment!
We wandered through the stalls, bought a basket, a loaf of freshly baked bread and some locally made cheese and butter and then ate like pigs.
After wandering around the market a bit, we took the little train up to the castle overlooking the city. The weather is beautiful today but it is just a bit hazy for those dreamy panoramas.
Saint George is the patron saint of Ljubljana and this is the chapel dedicated to him in the castle. We will never look at our little George the same again!!

Stephne's out cruising the stores right now and we will meet in a bit for a pre-dinner beer and then an authentic Slovenian meal at Gostilna Sokol.

Nesvidenja for now!

Wonderful
Kev and Steph,

Wow...between the wonderfully descriptive writing and the beautiful not only myself...but my colleagues are traveling vicariously with you through Europe. Can't wait to hear all about it once you are home!
