The day after Kev's birthday and we haven't been out for a while so we headed out past Braemar to Loch Muick for a walk around the loch. It was pretty cold, we've definitely hit a cold spell and the puddles along the path were still frozen and some of the surrounding mountains were snow capped, including Lochnagar to the West. Still, the scenery as ever, was beautiful and we felt better for the exercise even if we did have to hang on to each other towards the end to keep from being blown away by the incredibly strong wind. We even found our holiday house - we wish - the Queen's Hunting Lodge, disused and abandoned, we think she should give it to us! Pics attached.
