Back on the road, with a fraction of our luggage and taking on the trip now reliant on a multitude of budget flights, local bus companies, and any other means of transport which will get us to our next destination quickly and cheaply (mainly cheaply) – we made our first stop Porto.
We arrived rather late, but were immediately in comfortable surroundings when we met our first Portugese CSers, M&M. We got along swimmingly from the start, and we loved our stay in their Yoga Shala, which didn't prove to be enough inspiration to limber up and stretch out – but certainly provided plenty of shanti shanti. We loved our time in this city, not only due to the fact we were generally intoxicated on the area’s flagship product, but it had an amazing vibe to it, plenty to see and do, full of interesting and friendly people, as well as great food and really cheap coffee. This was the perfect start to our new phase of the trip, giving us much needed renewed confidence that all would be well – even without our crutch, Mr. Fid.
