We set off for another trip to Berlin, this time though, getting ready to brace the cold with the early on-set of winter and snow that the entire EU had been facing. There was always the risk we wouldn’t enjoy it, the cold would change the face of the city – make it inhospitable, a different beast, take away some of the things we so loved. But, we went. And, as always, Berlin delivered – we saw a very different side of it this time, not the least due to the season, but also being guided by Kirt and El to what they loved about the city. We were drawn by new things this time, but still drawn. Gogol Bordello also rocked. Again.
