We were warned Bratislava didn't have much to see or do by some very patriotic Slovakians we met at Sziget, but we were certain it would at least be worth a short visit on the way back to Austria and West Europa. The city itself is rather beautiful, and the UFO like structure you encounter when entering it is quite cool (and very quirky). We enjoyed touring the streets, and there was plenty going on contrary to earlier reports. All rather nice, and good for a break whilst driving to the land of the basement dwellers.
