Feeling a little down on proceedings to date however, Slovakia provided an immediate turn around in our faith and spirits that we would actually enjoy ourselves for the next few months as we met some really great, friendly, open and accepting people in the various small towns we visited for breaks and found our way to the national park for a snooze.
Not originally on our itinerary, the warm and welcome reception has led us to fit in a second visit to Slovakia at the end of our trip (or so we hope - as this tends to change daily).
