Bluebird

Thursday 9th I continued East on 299 to Redding, where I took Interstate 5 North to the town of Mount Shasta (the mountain itself is 14,162ft), then crossed into Oregon & visited Crater Lake - a rain & snow fed caldera that reflects the rim of the crater. On the way a deer ran into the side of the car, but was unhurt & ran away. I slept in the car in a lay-by.
