Wednesday 8th I continued North up the Pacific Highway. I had lunch at Cameron's British Pub & Inn at the southern end of Half Moon Bay - 2 red Double Decker buses in the beer garden!

I passed through San Francisco, driving over the Golden Gate Bridge.

I then took US Highway 101 inland towards Redwood country. I drove through (yes) a Giant Redwood,

then along the 'Avenue of Giants'. I returned to the Pacific and drove to Eureka, where I turned East on Highway 299, and slept in a lay-by in the car.
