Much as we don't want to think about it, this last week does feel like a race to the finish. I can't believe how fast this time has gone. Can you? Maybe it seems longer to all of you at home because all you have to do is sit around missing me. :)

It rained over the weekend and now its SO COLD here. I'm not joking. It's like overcast, sprinkling, and probably like 72 degrees with wind that makes it feel like 65. We didn't bring clothes for this weather, y'all! And to think that it's the first of July!

Anyway, today was the first day of our new class, which i believe is called Living the Great Commission in the Twenty-First Century. It's a really broad class, though, we talk about lots of things. There are two professors, and one teaches English in North Carolina while the other is an expert on apologetics and atheism. It's really interesting.

It starts at nine, thankfully, which is an hour later than God, Humanity, and Knowledge started.

At two we went back to the courtroom classroom (which is also where our class is) because a former president of Taylor was going to come and talk to us. His name was Jay Kessler. He was really funny and interesting. He talked all about the foundation on which a Christian college should be built. It was awesome!

We had active presence again tonight. Remember when i told you that my small group had to write one encouraging note to every person in the group? We gave them out tonight. It was a fun and challenging project. I felt so encouraged by the notes i got! I love my group. What an amazing night!
