Jules likes to book ahead, so this trip was locked in for a long weekend in May. At least... I think it was a long weekend. We'd decided it was going to be a driving trip, and Jules was pretty easy as to what we'd see or do when we got there, so there was only a brief hint of a plan involved.
We picked up our Ford Fiesta and made way to Dunfernline for the night. It took a little time to find our Travelodge, mostly because I printed out some rushed directions and didn't have a map on me when trying to find this place in the dark.
The photos are mostly of hills, countryside, and that sort of stuff. Although I haven't been to the Lakes District, I think this part of Scotland is extremely beautiful and is my favourite destination in the whole of the UK. I'd come back, as there are other places that I'd still like to see, and I'd be happy to spend more time relaxing around the Isle of Skye too.
