Still learning more geography. Met up with family (including 8-month-old grandson Daniel) at the Edinburgh airport. They didn't need to fly from Ireland, but had taken the ferry that landed in Glasgow, and were ready to meet the challenge of adding our luggage to their already filled vehicle. So with one (luggage) on the outside, we headed for our leased cottage in Falkland, Fife.
The men started right away for the local butcher shop, where they found several kinds of yummy meat pies to temporarily salve our hunger. The evening's repast was scheduled for the prizewinning restaurant at The Peat Inn by St. Andrews. But what with detours and roads being upgraded, it took us almost 30 minutes more than we had allowed to find the Inn. As I didn't take any photographs of our visit there, you can see photos of their establishment at www.thepeatinn.co.uk.
