Wow what a couple of weeks. I alternate from being absolutely convinced that I was going to leave Hays then the next second I am not. I went to an interview for a sales job as the long the interview went on the more convinced I was the I didn't want it. Spending my whole life writing long proposals for goverment to sell services so it is probably a combination of my worst things. Work itself has also got easier now I can talk to clients it feels like I am back at sales and in the chase for the deal
I had an amazing night out with Cirque Mother Africa. It is like Cirque de Soliel but with live African music. The snakes were two contorshinists who literally were like snakes and able to lie on their stomach with their legs over their heads then run them around from one side of their body to the other...it was like a car crash you couldn't look away but it did also make you feel quite sick. There were also great tumblers and juglers and other you would expect from a great circus. We followed it with a night out on the town which was my first taste of Wellington nightlife.
We followed it up the next week with a girls night on the town and I LOVE the fact that I live 3 mins walk from the biggest nightlife in Wellington but can't hear anything when I get home. Had a great night out with Andrea but there were a load of strange guys plaguing us but it was a lot more pleasant than being out in London.
The saying that there is nothing better than Wellington on a good day definately applies to the weekend where you can spend the whole day on the deck in the sunshine out of the wind looking over the city. Feel so chilled and happy here I am so glad I made it here!
