Wow what a family adventure. The 6 of us cousins packed our bags and headed to Stansted for a great adventure across Europe. From the huge slices of birthday on the plane to the bumpiest landing ever Hols and I were feeling more than little sick. An exciting 2 hour journey on a coach reminding one of school trips with the back seats. Arriving at 2am it was an advernture making our way to our shared dorm. 6 people in one room for the first time in 8 years. Ear plugs and eye shades have never felt just that good.
Quotes:
'It is such a novelty making ones own bed...' Hols as we make our own beds using packs of sheets.
'At least I will die quick if you fall on me...' Jamie to Ed as he took the bottom bunk bed.
Onto Saturday and our Lux exploration...bri arrives hundover after a 4am dance session. We head off in the rain to the best hot chocolate in the world. Chunks of solid chocolate the size of ice cubes in variety of flavours which are dipped into hot milk until they melt.
Then we head off to try Luxembourg wine at Ross suggestion. If you have never tried it - definately give it a go. Amazing couple hours drinking fine white wine.
Quotes:
'I wouldn't want to take away his manhood so it would have to be someone girly like Leo.' Jamie enough said.
'Which one was I drinking again? Red or blue' Nicky deciding between the Pinot and Reisling
The expo was next with 125 stalls set up with each country selling their tradition wares. So obviously Australian wine and SA boreworst had to be sampled.
Quotes:
'I have travelled from Australia to South Africa in 5 mins' Ed as we make the journey to get the next installment of Alcohol
'I am most difinately taller' Bri as her and Ross size each other up
Traditional lux meal of slow roasted pork or horse. Ed clearing any glasses on the bar after he returned from outside and removed the coats. American frat boys stories. The most decedant Eclairs ever.
Then onto a Salsa club with much dancing and knocking people out the way. A very naughty trouble maker.
Quotes:
'How will you cope with the white men dancing?' Jamie
The final club where Jamie and I managed to distroy over 30 glasses with a miss timed spin.
Quotes:
'It is in my pocket...somewhere' Ed as he hunts the coat ticket
