How is this for luxury I got picked up from the airport then a room to myself for 4 days! I stayed with Christine and Jordan (who is my dad's cousin). I stayed with them last time I travelled 8 years and it was amazing to see someone who had been 12 my last visit now 20 and all grown up. Alex is now at uni which is crazy...I think you only notice time slipping by when you see it on people who are younger than you. It rained for every single day I was in Sydney apart from one. Which luckily we had chosen to go into the city. Jordan's office is amazing but then if you design it yourself what do you expect?
   We hit the Opera House, Bridge and Botanical Gardens before going to the Press Photographers of the Year which was pretty disturbing especially as you knew they were real and not make up or special effects. It was great to see the city but I don't see myself being able to stay there long term I prefer Melbourne or Perth and hopefully NZ! :)
    Then we had a decadent day of chips, and homemade scones watching DVDs while it rained constantly. We definately earned it though with a trip to Bondi which is supposed to be like Baywatch except you couldn't see 5m infront of you for the rain! My last day I gave up the luxury and headed into the city to meet friends from Laos who were on their way to live in Melbourne. I hit the museam of Sydney instead of the Opera House again in the rain this time.
