This will be a quick entry, as we're preparing to leave for west Texas, tomorrow and time is precious, because we're hanging with my sister-in-law, Sara (two year resident of San Antonio), while in town. Thanks to our local tour guide, we surveyed The Alamo, Riverwalk and Taco Taco Cafe, our first day in town. We ventured out to Mission San Josť y San Miguel de Aguayo on Sunday, and lucked out, arriving just before 1pm, while the Mariachi Mass, was still in progress. The Mission's restoration, history, and ongoing use within the community, is impressive. We're soaking in the warm weather, as temperatures are bound to decrease as we move westward and altitude climbs.
