Yesterday I was feeling adventures and ventured on a bus to the next town Residencia. I found my map skills were really put to the test here. I could'nt match street names to the map in hand for the life of me. Once again I experienced my frustration of not being able to locate what I had set out to. Needless to say I gave up my pursuit in finding a park of sculptures. I feel I have a tendancy to follow my guide literary! To the point that it can lead to a few disappointments, I found the main plaza (described as being doted with sculptures and many water fountains) I found this not to be the case. The water fountains were like garden sprinklers which where all turned off and I did not discover the sculptures. Did they move them? Was I in the wrong place? I did get to see some of the boasted 300 sculptures around the streets when pursuing the park! (About 10 to be exact).

Residencia was an adventure however, I am glad I choose to stay in Corrientes. I have enjoyed watching the sun set over the river, reading under the shade of the trees in the parks, discovering the many murials. In corrientes I have experienced my first Argentina Protest, as they marched around the plaza, through out the day they set of bangers that would leave a puff of smoke in the air (like a small cannon) it always made me jump! I have enjoyed just watching the world go by.

In corrientes I have experinced kindness from the locals with my hand ordeal (pleased to say its returned to normal size!) and daylight robery as a kid talked me out off my half drank coke a cola as I tried to eat my lunch in the park, well how could I deny him that?
