I have come to the realisation that the weather has a huge impact on your first impression of a place. I arrived in Tucuman to glorious weather and it quickly helped lighten the mood. Having spent two full days here I have had a chance to explore. Tucuman has served as a rest before pursuing my travels towards Iguacu falls.

I arrived in Tucuman quite exhausted from a build up of early coach journeys and late nights socializing with other gringos. Tucuman has allowed me to take some time out to plan a rough route for my travels. Up till now I was not sure of the best way to explore Argentina without going back on myself.

Pronunciations in Argentina are very different to Chile and so far from what I have experienced in my short time here, they tend to drop the 's's. And double 'L's or y's are pronounced as a J! This is causing me some confusion, earlier I received a coffee when I was trying to order a coke cola and spent time waiting for a museum to open which seemed not to exist. Still I remain smiling and I am having fun.
