Day One in Disney World

Animal Kingdom - We decided to start early for this park as we were going to try to fit 2 parks in today.  Little did we know that this was the biggest park and the other three parks could fit into this park.  The first thing we did was to go on the Safari which was really good and well worth the hour wait.  The whole park is just like a big animal park and the animals are just walking around the place, apart from the lions.  We found the water ride in the park and they said you would get wet but we thought we would do it anyway.  Not the best idea as we got really, really wet and it took the whole day to dry.  We did another couple of rides and then decided it was time to go to Hollywood Studios.

Hollywood Studios - This Park was a little more full on.  Our first stop was lunch and we had it at a nice 50's style diner, nice food and really entertaining.  It was time to get to a ride, star tours.  This was the ride Thomas really wanted to do as it was Star Wars based.  It was a really fun ride and then we had a look around and went to the Indiana Jones stunt show which was cool and showed us how the stunts were done in the movie.  The day was getting on and we decided to stay for the Fantasmic light show and then go back to the hotel.  The show was really good and the only bad thing about it was the Cheerleaders, their must have been a nationals in Orlando as they were everywhere and sooooooooo annoying.  The show finished and it was time to go back to the hotel and sleep for the next day.  We had dinner at the hotel and then went to bed for a well deserved sleep.

Day Two in Disney World

Magic Kingdom - It was our day to do the original park.  Magic Kingdom was magical and we decided to do Tomorrowland first and Space Mountain was the first ride of the day.  That was it for Tomorrowland as the rest was really kid rides, it was onto Frontierland and Pirates of the Caribbean, we did that ride and then did the Mountain Roller Coaster and onto the Haunted House.  They were all good rides and then it was time for lunch.  Mark and Emile came along for the day as well and they enjoyed themselves.  Lunch was nice and then it was a quick walk around the park and a sit down to watch the parade.  We went on a little boat ride called "Its a Small World" OMG - it drove us all totally crazy.  We had enough of this Park so we decided to go back to Hollywood Studios as their were some rides we missed the day before.

Hollywood Studios - This time it was the big rides.  We went to do the Rocking Roller Coaster first and the wait was well worth it.  The ride was the best we had been on and we decided we would have to do this again.  The next ride was The Hollywood Hotel - The Twilight Zone ride - the wait wasn't that long and the ride was just like the Giant Drop at Dreamworld, Thomas was white knuckle for the whole ride and then it was back to the roller coaster again before leaving the park and going back to the hotel.

Back at the hotel we decided it was time to do some laundry and then we went for a soak in the heated pool, the weather in Orlando is amazing and so warm. We headed back to our room and to sleep as it will be another big day tomorrow and our last day in Disney World.

Day Three in Disney World

Epcot - This was a late start for us as we knew the Park was going to be open until midnight.  We got to the Park and got a pass for the best ride there with the Fast Track - Test Track.  While we were waiting for that we had a look around the Park and found the Norway area which Thomas really liked and we went on a ride there which wasn't the best.  We were looking around the rest of the worlds there and some random people gave us a pass to go on another ride called Soarin' which was like a glider ride.  Kelly really liked this ride and wanted to go again but the line was to big.  Then it was onto the Fast Track ride which was really awesome and fast.  We had dinner at a Chinese Restaurant there which wasn't that nice.  The show that night in Epcot was really amazing and good to watch.  We then went on one more ride and left the Park around 11pm.  Got back to the hotel for the last time and decided to go for a quick swim in the heated pool before sleeping.

Day Four - leaving Disney World

It was time to leave Disney and I think we were both happy for that as we were all Parked out, and so sick of screaming phyco kiddies and mental cheer leaders. We got a taxi to our next hotel and it was not the cheapest thing in the world.  We checked into our new hotel which was nice and decided to have a day off to try to recover from our colds.  This day was working really well until Thomas realized that he had left the passports in the last hotel and this was not a good thing!!  We went back to the Disney hotel that night and were unable to get the passports so we went to Downtown Disney for dinner for a look around.  We had dinner at Planet Hollywood which was very yummy and awesome restaurant setup. Back to our hotel after that for a good nights sleep and hopefully we will feel better tomorrow.  Not a good day for us but it could have been worse.  Lets see what tomorrow brings...
