After a very long bus journey, we made it to Portland to be greeted by the friendly, smiley faces of Whit and Michelle. They kindly picked us up from the station and drove us back to their house where their 5 kids waited for us! We got settled in to our most interesting accommodation so far (a cosy tent in the garage), and probably the best :) showered and headed straight back out for an action packed day at the fair, with all the family in tow. 
Getting back in the afternoon, very tired from a long sleepless night, and a busy day, it was safe to say early to bed was on the cards, and thankfully it was for them too!
