We got up around 9 or 10 this morning, and decided we would go for a hike in a local nature park, type thing. Alan gave us a lift to where the trail started, and then left us to face the wilderness on our own! It was a blazing hot day, and there wasn't much shade, good job we had our sun cream on! We set off along the trail, and it wasn't too long before Jack was constantly paranoid about the mountain lions, every rustle in the bushes made him jump. After an hour or so of walking, we made it to the top of a pretty steep hill, where sat in some shade to admire the view and eat our lunch. After a little rest, and water top up, we set off again, downhill this time!
Back at the house we decided to go to the local neighbourhood pool and go for a little swim before the sun went down, then back to enjoy a bbq dinner.
