Another day at the beach, where the topic of the day was surfing. We sat and watched them catching the waves for so long that we made a plan to learn to surf this summer when we go home. We knew it wasn't going to be easy after watching a couple of beginners having a lesson on the beach...falling off is something we'll just have to get used to! We went to Liz's school for lunch, as we had been invited, and who turns down a free meal!? It was very nice too, sat with a group of 5 year old's eating strawberry shortcake was pretty amusing.
Back for a couple more hours on the beach before meeting Liz after school for a ride back to the house. Back there we decided we would attend Robert's school drama production, which was a murder mystery theme, sounded like fun, and we got fed. It turned out to be a good laugh, a bit confusing, but definitely a fun night. We didn't guess who the murderer was, but it wasn't easy! The food was really good as well, which is the main thing. There was cake and everything!
We headed home for another early night, ready for our long bus ride to San Francisco tomorrow.
