32 hours since the alarm (BENNY BOO BOO) chimed "wake up-it's holidays'...arrgghhhh.....24 hours of travel,3 planes, a train, an automobile (Thanks Nat for our airport transfer- saved poor princess from the germ infested public train), and then finally a mini bus transfer cramed with 10 adults...mostly males...where we were subjected to heavy breath, farting, the aroma of McDonald a late night snack on touchdown, and occasional snoring with a colorado country AM station providing backdrop.

Upgrade???? No- unfort we were left to fend in cattle class...however,we were offered the opportunity to 'upgrade' to an Emergency exit' seat...Fancy $300.00 to upgrade to an 'emergency exit' seat...Once apon a time if you smiled sweetly, asked politely or used who ever you could to pull any strings availiable then you may have just been lucky enough to score one of these prized seats in economy that afforded you just that little bit of extra leg room...particulary on a full plane with 13hour flight looming ahead...On account of Benny's long long legs...we bit back & paid the $$$...and I'm sure we did greatly appreciate the extra cm's with the high premium..

However..we did escape the excess luggae charge...only 5kg's over our limit...perhaps I could have squeezed in those extra items I removed at home after our practice weigh...

Aeorplane food.....Blah!!!!!
2 movies...
Countless hours of tossing & turning..
Constant monitoring of the 'km's remaining'..
And no Nat - no ear flicking, nose poking or annoying behaviour from Kelly (saving it for the trip home)

3 flights & a train later...with only one occassion of being lost in the airport at Denvor...
Luggae all intact...we finally make the transfer to our Lodge accomodation in Vail...

Right at this moment....a long hot shower.....a bed..any bed....& a slice of vegemite toast would be worth a million $$$$
