Kensington Palace walk and Windsor Castle tour

We walked over and saw Kensington Palace grounds and gift shops (5 Min) which is being renovated, brought lunch home, caught the 1:00 bus to Windsor Castle returning at 5:30. Windsor castle was the best of London area so far and truly stunning. We had 4 1/2 hours total time and got 2 hours free at the castle. All the staff know so much, just ask. Tony was the best and he told us lots of interesting things about the George room. We saw the bullet that killed Nelson just quietly displayed in one of the many cases. Since we were just at Nelson's column in Trafalgar Square a day or two ago it seemed fitting. After returning from our trip we walked to The Old Swan for supper via the most famous Churchill pub which was full and busy. After supper we strolled some more in Kensington before buying travel beverages and were home at 9:45. We also were quite surprised to find a bowling alley / skating rink two stories below ground 10 minutes from our hotel. I'll add some more content and pictures when I get a chance.

Nancy:
Windsor Castle was amazing, so opulent and even larger than I thought it would be. The little Windsor village was so quaint and Wonderland like!
