I'm sitting in the mid-day heat with my cousin in New Zealand north island. I've just been white water rafting down 13km of up to grade 5 rapids which was well cool! We're 2 hours north of Palmy at a river valley lodge with some awesome rapids nearby on the Rangituikei river (deep valley cut through limestone rocks).
Next week I'm chilling out and getting ready to cycle about the south island in Feb which should be stunning! On to Melbourne on 28th Feb (from christchurch) for the Grand Prix, then off to Asia mid-april (from Brisbane) to Vietnam where I will travel overland to Bangkok in Thailand. I want to get involved with relief efforts there but nothing planned as yet!
Keep 'er lit at home there and enjoy your snow! I'll be basking in the sun here......
