Here we are for a night in George Town after leaving Annie's this morning. We're waiting hopefully for our passports to come back stamped with a Thai Visa, and cooling off from the heat - it's been cloudy the last few days but still hot and humid, but today it is clear, very hot, and still humid! Had a nice morning wandering around and adding to the sightseeing repertoire from yesterday, so we've now covered the Colonial section, Little India, China Town, and we've also been to the Unesco museum here and had a British pub meal - vege burgers all round!

When we explored George Town yesterday we were finding it really hard to get around as the pavements are either non-existent or used for motorcycle parking, so we were pleased to find a whole section of the town with proper pavements and everything today!

The plan is to get the ferry to Langkawi tomorrow morning, where we've booked to stay in Zackry's guesthouse for a reunion with the same lot from Annie's!
