This afternoon we were picked up by Lotus Limousine, who Kelly works with on a regular basis to take the family to the airport. There was a little "turbulence" at the ticket counter as our largest bag was 58 lbs and they wanted to charge us an extra $50 since is was over 50 lbs. Instead they were able to find a box for us to transfer some of those extra pounds into (hiking books are heavy!) and then we were on our way to the gate. We stopped at the US Airways lounge first where Kelly has a membership to enjoy some snacks and views of the airport.
