The first step in setting up this travelogue was picking a name ... easier said than done. Many were considered and discarded: Jealousy Tour (thanks Joseph), "Just Start Livin', that's the next thing on my list" (Toby Keith), The Travel Monologues, P's on Parade, Crazy Americans Take World by Storm, The Adventures of Kaitlyn (and those other three), The Traveling Poffendue's?, KEDD TRAVELS, Travels of KEDD, KEDD EXPEDITION,
Wishyouwereustravels, etc.

I finally settled on KEDD. You figure it out.

Anyway, welcome to our travelogue. This is just my way of letting you keep up with our travels and enjoy our adventure. Certainly much more effective than trying to send out individual e-mails. Feel free to send us a response. We look forward to hearing from you over the next several weeks.

It is early morning, June 1, 2005, and we will soon be leaving for the airport and our long flight to Paris. We travel from St. George to Salt Lake City to New York and finally to Paris. We will have a 12-hour layover in which to explore the city of Paris, and then back to the airport for our flight to Johannesburg and then on to Richards Bay. In Richards Bay we will be met by a representative from the safari camp and driven to Zulu Nyala, our stop for the next seven days.
