The Clinic Singapore

After another beautiful dinner we set out to see what happens in Singapore when the sun goes down. It turns out that just like in Australia it goes dark! (crazy huh!)

We walked down to Traders Market at the Boat Quay which is a river side area that is illuminated with stunning coloured lights that reflect off the water. We wondered around this buzzing area for a short while looking at the variety of novelty themed bars and restaurants.

We were on the hunt to track down a specific bar with a hospital theme called the Clinic. There were lowered hospital beds for seats, the tables were operation tables and the other seating option was a comfy and maneuverable wheelchair. As well as the commonly served drinks, they had a number of medical topic drinks such as 'Blood Transfusions' that are served in a drip with tap like nozzle to drink from. We ordered an alternative cocktail and it was brought to us on a drip while we waited in our wheelchairs. Its strength and potency made up for the price ($40). We sipped from our drip, watching people as they watched us. It was an experience that we simply could not pass up on.

Loving it! Love Kailey and Ethan

Hi ke.gypsies,

We missed you in Singapore by one day! Cynthia and I were on our way back from New Zealand and we arrived in SIN on Tuesday and left on Wednesday evening.

I hope you are having a good time in Malaysia. When are you coming to Vietnam? We have a spare bedroom and a maid to cook and do your laundry :-)
