Safe and sound- Back in Texas

So.. we made it back safe to Texas.
This
morning, we waited in the hotel lobby waiting for news to see if we'd
be able to leave. Taxis weren't running but we caught a ride with an
American who'd moved there, and some shuttles for a missionary group
that had been there for the week and were in the same situation. They
took us on back roads to avoid military blocks.
Once at the airport everything was pretty calm and no troubles getting back.
News is: The president was sent to Costa Rica and is now apparently in Venezuela.

**Lets just say, I was very happy to put my feet on American soil...
A couple days here and then I'm off to HK.
