So Im back at home in Nicoya and it feels great!!!  I love little towns where everybody knows your name (I hear the Cheers song coming on!).  Its a weird phenomenon to me, to be in a country so far from Maryland, and yet I feel like I know everyone, and they know me.  I know how to get everywhere I need to go and do everything I need to do.  I even walked in the internet cafe and the man that runs it said - "wow! where have you been? I thought you were lost!!!" haha.  Ive been having a good time, staying with the Montiels and reuniting with the friends in the congregation.  Right after we got in town Friday, Joel sold their car (theyve been trying to sell it since I was here the last time) and so we got a ride down with a brother to Nandayure.  We spent the night at a house some temporary special pioneers are renting and had a nice time with them.  They (tried) to teach me to play jacks.  It is more difficult than I ever imagined.  They said - "how is it a piano teacher cant play jacks!?"

They had fun watching my crazy attempts.  Then we found a creature on the kitchen floor right before we went to bed, I wont tell you what it is, I will wait until I can upload pictures.

We were all a little frightened that we found that there on the same floor we would be sleeping on.  However, everyone survived the night and we just suffered a few mosquito bites, haha.

Service in Nandayure was GREAT, just like I remembered it.  I got several good return visits already for the friends to go back on.  We went preaching on the same street we were on with Ashlee one time, and we all said, "we miss Ashlee!!!"... we took pictures there the last time by the river, and this time too.  Then we went to the meeting, they have 4 meetings together at once for the group, from 2pm-5pm, the school, service meeting, pub talk and wt study.  They have increased from 3 publishers to 5 and had 25 in attendance at the long meeting.  They even have a "literature department".

Youll see when I put up pictures.  Nice to see they are still going strong and having increase.

Last night I went to a sisters house, she had a couple local sisters over and all of the sisters that are serving in Nicoya from the states (there are 6 now!).  So we had a great time, trying to play marimba, one sister was teaching the locals to dance swing, it was alot of fun.  Then we went to the one sisters apartment to watch a movie and talk.  Jehovah really is blessing the congregation, they are receiving so much support and encouragement.

Today I went to the beach and relaxed for a few hours, got lunch, and did a little shopping.  Joel and Roxana left at 3 am to go to San Jose to look for a car.  Hopefully they found one!!

Mountain preaching is this weekend, I cant wait!!!

Talk to you all soon, take care, love and greetings from Costa,
Kels

I miss Costa Rica!
Reading your blog brought back so many memories. I can't wait for you to come home and go back so I can visit and have lasagne and mocha and pastries. I can't wait to hear more and see your pictures of Garza. We got snow today and there is nothing I would like more than to be at the beach having an Imperial! Tell the friends hello!

Te Amo.
