we made it safely across the border - 6 of us packed in to a small, rusty car that sounded like it might stop for good every time it slowed down. as we got near to the passport control, chilean side, we began to realise that we were carrying an unauthorised substance and were heading swiftly (well in that car not really so swiftly) towards become smugglers. apparently apples are not allowed over the border so we had to consume the majority of our supply and then quickly get rid of the evidence before we were caught...

we then flew from tacna to lima with aerocondur peru and, classy airline that they are, they had blatantly nicked their safetly announcements because when they played the english version it said  'thank you for choosing ryan air' ?

we have a meeting with out group for the inca trail in just over an hour, hopefully there will be some nice people!
