We are headed Home! We made our flight to
Incheon with no trouble, in spite of language difficulties with our cab driver. It was pouring rain today--a good day to leave. We left at 11:55 on Thursday, August 21st, and will finally arrive home at 9:25 am on Friday. For us that means about a 2 hour flight from
Beijing to
Incheon, a 4.5 hour layover in Incheon (yay, WorldClub membership!), an 11.5 hour flight from Incheon to LA, a 7 hour layover in LA, a 4+ hour flight from LA to Detroit, yet another layover in Detroit for 3.75 hours, and about an hour and a half ride home. So, we expect day and night to blur. We will arrive in LA 4 hours
before leavis ing
Beijing, for example.
We are looking forward to being at home with our friends and family. We wish we could have taken you all along with us, and hope that in a small way, this blog has allowed us to do just that.
