After traveling about 4 weeks along the East Coast of Australia, we were back in Sydney for Christmas Eve. It didn't feel like Christmas at all though, as it was sunny, hot and we were wearing shorts. The only thing which reminded us on Christmas was when we were grocery shopping in the fresh- and frozen-food-department of Woolworth where both they played jolly Christmas carols and it was freezing cold.

Nevertheless, the two of us had a wonderful holiday, cooking our own Christmas dinner with lamb medallions over couscous, hommus and ratatouille. Then, we strolled along the Rocks at the Sydney harbour and enjoyed the peaceful city by night which reminded us a lot of Paris' charm. A wonderful city. Yet, we missed home, our family and friends.
