Well, enough of me for a couple of days! I have company-Kia is here so I thought it would be more fun for you to read about her explorations and experiences.

I got here Friday night after a long 12 hour plane ride. Kirsten waited for me at the airport while I waited for my bags. I was worried one wasn't coming, but low and behold, all 4 peices came safely. Kirsten will think it is Christmas when we start to unpack. An airport bell hop lifted my bags for me and he got a work out. After everything was in Kirsten's car off we went talking all the way into Amman. The airport is about 30 minutes out of town or shorter with the way the driving goes. Kirsten's teacher friends were at The Grenedier for "quiz" night. It is a British Pub with lots of character. Steve and Lisa Mancuso (principal and 5th grade teacher), their two sons and Erik, band teacher were already there playing the game. I wasn't much help but was glad to be a part of their Friday night tradition. We left at 11:00'ish and headed to Kirsten's house. The suitcases were put in the elevator and we met them on third floor. This time we got a work-out bringing them back down a half of flight of steps to her place. As soon as we got somewhat settled and I got a tour of the house, we broke out the suitcases and the fun began. Only the chocolate chips and the M&M's had broken bags otherwise everything was in tact. Three of the four cases were open as time flew and decided we should go to sleep as it was 2:00am. Saturday was going to be a big day, so off to sleep. It will be a great vacation!
