A friend of mine from Belfast came down and stayed with us in the hostel. We went up north to Malahide to see my two favorite Irish bands perform at the castle grounds- Duke Special and Bell X1. It was fantastic, and very fun to see a concert at a castle! She had only been to Dublin once before, so I showed her around (how funny is that?) Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are SO different from eachother, as I found out when I went up there. By this time, I started to feel really comfortable in Dublin...quite settled in.
