What an absolutely fantastic wedding--a party by the poolside that lasted five days. The weather was perfect and there were so many friends (over 200) to catch up with (or meet). Lots of drinks by (or in) the pool, dancing--on the beach, by the pool and at Cabo Wabo in town--, fiestas, endless eating, sunning, backgammon, and chilling out. This was the holiday from my holiday that I needed, although I somehow ended up getting less than seven hours of sleep a night. Funny that. The only time I read my book was on the plane to and from Mexico--there was too much fun to be had and too many friends to hang out with. Thankfully, we realised that the half glass "shots" of tequilla knocked way too many people out of action on the first day, that the enthusiam for such craziness quickly came to a halt. The hotel definitely realised within a day that the flat rate all inclusive price was going to not be profitable with this gang and the amount of beverages consumed. Somehow, the pool bar seemed to shut earlier and earlier each day... I managed to see my parents for about 20 minutes over the course of the wedding weekend, but as I am now "officially home for good (for now)", no worries! Great rooming with my brother and getting to spend some quality brother/sister time together, although now that he's moving home tomorrow for six weeks as well, we'll all be getting lots of family time in.

Peter and Amy, great wedding and a wonderful way to celebrate your relationship with so many amazing people. Cheers to you.

xx

For the rest of you in the Bay Area and elsewhere, I look forward to catching up soon. Drop me a line and let's make some plans. For those of you around the US, I hope to be able to visit sometime this summer or later this year, depending on how my endless summer (and job search) plans pan out.
