This week, we are in Namibia. It is great. The first day we went to Rundu, where I noted the unfreindliness of Southern Africa was not in my head. We went into a suermarket to change money and buy lunch and everything went wrong. My 20s were not good enough for changing and were rejected along with the girl with me. I asked at the counter what was in a pie and was told rudely that the woman selling them " did not know" It was so rude that the Namibian man behind us sad " how can you not know what you are selling?" and laughed. Then we almost saw two people fighting in the store and were pushed by at least 20 ( guess we were in the way). Finally as we were leaving I asked the woman at the counter how she was and she scowled. Oh Namibia.

That night we stayed at some rock carvings which was mediocre. I have a huge fear of walking on rocks and was told that the walk was flat and had no rocks. It was uphill and jagged when I got there. I actually went back to the camp when we started climbing and waited for the others to return with other people who could not handle it. Though I lost 2 dollars apparently that was a good decision because those who continued said the painting were not as good as the last ones we saw in Zim and the walk got worse.

The next night we stayed at the site of the Hoba meteor. It was special. The staff refused to open the shower so we felt unclean ( for some two nights in the row since the camp at the paintings was rumored to have run out of water). That night my tentmate stayed out late and was loud which angered some of the other tourists and I had to hear about it though she is an independent 33 year old woman whom does not need me to take responsibility for her as though she is a child.

Then we went to Etosha National Park and saw animals. It was not as good as the first time we went. For some reason we went to the crappy campsite with no animals so we saw nothing at the watering hole. There was also drama between people at the truck that day because I think people are over the whole traveling thing. People complain about the camps, noise, fridge and everything they can. So I just zone out or talk to the UK people I like Im not but others are. Im cool with my people though.

Thgen the next day we saw many animals and I was the spotter for them which kept me awake. Last night we stayed on this rock and slept outside which was so fun because of the group of people. There were 4 of us girls and one guy and the whole night we just yelled, and annoyed him. It was funny though I was not sure he thought so though the next morning he laughed.  Now we are in Swakopmund partying it up in the Swakop Lodge. Its funny because we have gone all the places that I went before. I also saw my quad bike instructors which was cool. . Of course there was drama about who gets the good room and who is with who, but i got the good room and Im with those whom I want to Im good with it. We have so much fun at night because we just joke and laugh with each other. We also have good resource sharing which keeps me stocked with stuff I need.  we also eat similarly and shop on the same budget. Overall we are a good fit.  Tomorrow I will sky diveGet excited!!!
