Ok before I begin the adventures of the day I just want to say I have the best BFF ever, I am feeling the blog love, including pictures...nice work.  Alrighty so for today lol We booked a trekking trip to see the waterfalls and the caves today.  It was awesome first we took a truck ride up to some villages.  It was really crazy because I guess tours go through there a lot because everyone in the village was very friendly, especially the kids who were sooo excited to wave and have us wave at them and take their pictures.  We also got to see a school, it was sooo cool.  I learned that the government only pays for the kids to go to school for 5 years, so they start at 5 end at 10 and after that the only kids that get to go to school without paying are the ones they deem smart enough to continue going.  Pretty crazy!!  So after the villages we hiked for two hours to get to the springs and the caves.  We went to the caves first, thank goodness I randomly had my little flashlight in my backpack because it was sooo dark in the cave.  Kelley kept gettin mad because I forgot that she didn't have a flashlight oppps my b.  Then after seeing the spring, we hiked another hour and went to the waterfalls.  They were literally stunning!  Over dramatic word I know but seriously.  At first the guide had us walk above the water fall looking down, but then we went to the bottom and finally to the swimming area.  The water was FREEZING!  Kelley was a wimp and didn't get it, I on the other hand jumped from a tree into the water and went right up under one of the falls.  It was crazy bc I know I was cold but for some reason my body felt warm.  Then on the walk to the truck we saw bears in a cage which was kinda cool.  Kelley said that the bears reminded her of Lucy, I agree because anyone that saw Lucy as a puppy knows that she really did look like a bear.  Soooooo I forgot to mention that right now in Laos and Thailand it is the new year holiday.  Which basically means during the day when kids are not in school they stand on the side of the street and dump water all over you!!!  It is insanity, especially on the truck ride home.  I probably got like 3 full buckets of water on my head, needless to say I was drenched by the time we arrived back to the office.  Thank god we put our cameras in a waterproof bag because that could have been bad.  When we got back me and Kelley had a relaxing dinner right on the river for about 7 us dollars it was nice!!  Tonight we plan to go to the night market and tomorrow we are renting bikes to ride around the city which should be a lot of fun!
