We drove into Perth today and walked around Kings Park which was an awesome park on top of the city - from there you could see everything.  They have an excellent Bali memorial up there and its also home to the War Memorials and Botanical Gardens.  We caught the free bus around the city and checked it out then went to the Bell Tower and got to play the bells! We can see why Perth was voted number 5 best city to live in - its our favourite capital city so far - its clean, well organised, interesting, a mixture of old and new, buildings arent too tall and its just magic.  The day was beautiful and soooo warm (i hear its cold at home - sorry guys, but im glad im not there!)

After spending time in Perth we hopped back in the wonderful Kombi and drove to The Pinnacles Desert - they are the one of the most amazing things we have seen so far.  Its like you are on the moon or on Planet of the Apes - its insane.  And you can drive the car around them and get out and walk around them.  They are just in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by a desert to the left and pure white sand dunes to the right - just weird.

We have settled down for the night in Cervantes and then we will be heading up the coast to Geraldton tomorrow.
