Its time for the beanie and massive jackets! Left Port Albert this morning and headed to Wilsons Promontory which is only about 1 and half hours away. We set up camp at the Tidal River camp area and it is the best camping area we have been to yet (and the cheapest) full amenities, hot showers, phone and internet reception, the whole bit (and you get excited when you get these sort of places, trust us).

We have been for the first of many walks - this whole place is just amazing and the only way to see it is on foot. But its bloody freezing (although when you get away from the ocean its stinking hot). So tomorrow we will head off on all of the walking tracks and check out the scenery.

We returned to our camp site to see what had been taken over by about about 200 school students! so we packed up camp and moved on to another site - there was no way i was putting up with that for the next few days!

So we are sitting at our table - the sky is blue (ive got a massive jacket and beanie on and even John had to succumb to jeans and a jacket) and there are parots sitting at our table eating the food John is giving them (yes he is feeding more wildlife) John even has them sitting on my laptop :)
