Okay, I finally have a decent internet connection so I can go nuts with the uploads, digest my thoughts and generally catch you all (an ourselves) up.  Still sick from Luxor, but who cares, we're in Spain.  Believe me, if Dahab was a different world, then Malaga is a different PLANET!

We arrived from Geneva ahead of schedule at around 10:00 am Spanish time.  I liked Spain immediately, because although there is Security at the airport, no-one seemed bothered enough to even check my passport, let alone pat me down whilst holding an assault rifle (Egypt).  A quick Taxi-ride confirmed that Malaga is a clean, beautiful city full of clean, beautiful people.  Made the two skanky Australians crave an immediate shower.  Our reception at Casa Babylon was unbelievable.  No worries, no hassles and great smiles.  Everyone greets you and wants to know your name.  We landed smack in the middle of Sunday, a day where everyone either goes to the beach, or to their friends house for lunch / dinner / supper.  Check out the photos, this was not put on for us, but is how they spend every Sunday, especially when the sun is shining.  Almost all the guests are locals, or have been here long enough to earn the same title.  No fakes, no touts and definitely no worries.  Amrika (I hope I spelled it right - have to ask) is a wizard in the kitchen, and long before we ate we were drooling from the smells.  Fantastic.  Moroccan chicken and broth, swimming with raisins on couscous.  Lamb with more sides.  Mussels to die for.  If this is a Spanish Sunday, then I want evry day to be Sunday.

We've already discussed staying here for a while.  Maybe as long as a month, as we need to get over these colds, recuperate and feel at home for a while.  I think it may be an easy task here in Malaga.
