Where I stayed
The rain had stopped and the sun was out for our bus ride to Sao Paulo which took us along some beautiful coastline before pulling into built up city of Sao Paulo. Everyone, including the locals had their own take on this city and opinions varied. Trip Advisor this week put it in their Top Ten upcoming cities to visit so it must be doing something right. We braved the Metro (underground) to get to our hostel which was situated in a region famous for its sushi. I think Karen booked this
hostel after her disastrous luck with meals in Brazil.
We only had one night here and this was to be the last part of our South America adventure together as Karen had to fly back to Australia the following day to go to the Melbourne River Symposium. We headed off to the airport and after check in said farewell to each other. It felt quite sad to think that this was the end of our trip together :(
I boarded my flight to Florianopolis which I was hoping would be a highlight of my trip as everyone had raved about it.
