Bonterra Park
What an interesting and surprising little place this is!.
We really had only thought of this place as a stop-over rest and recouperation before our main stop but are now finding daily what a lovely little place and community this is.
Everyone is so friendly with a mixture of nationalities. Some are here for the whole winter and we are beginning to wonder why anyone needs to travel further if the sun is here then stay and enjoy what Benicassim and Bonterra Park has to offer ....300 days of sunshine reputedly.
The local promenade is flat and pleasant to walk with plenty of cafes along the way Convenient supermarkets on the doorstep and restaurants nearby,
We were lucky to have such good neighbours on our campsite. Marian and Leo are the life and soul of the the social scene as well as having an interesting enterprise going with the re-cycling of plastic bottles into amazing decorative creations for home or garden. Here a are a few of their best and we have included two of our favourties that we have bought for our awning.
Many others on site have little lucrative hobbies from card making to wood crafts and we can understand why people want to stay here for the whole winter as it has this little village community ethos to it.
We really are enjoying our week here and are tempted to come back next year maybe for the whole season.
