Today went great, woke up in the morning keen for some surfing. Brushed my teeth, ate my cereal, drank my tea. Then we got into the car. We took the usual route to Caswell, passing the airport where I saw the Audi R8 the day before. I knew that I had a lot to look forward to. When we got to the bay, Nana and Col dropped me off, I walked over to where the surf school is, but there was no one there. I went to the Surfside Cafe, got some orange juice waiting. Then around five minutes later, Ben, the surf coach opened up shop, and so I walked over. Five new guys were there, so I didn't know anyone to start off with. But I introduced myself to the other guys who happened to be going the next day too. I got my wetsuit on, squeezing myself into it. Then I got my board, it was a white board which was slightly better than the pink one I had the day before! I carried my board down to the shore, but first, we had to warm up! So to do so we had a game of bulldog which I won then we were on our way to the waves! When Ben was going through the instructions that he does everyday, me and Lanto got to go to the sea straight away because we had been before which was great! We ventured in to the sea, then, a huge wave was coming, bigger than me even! I shouted 'WAVE!' I jumped onto my board, paddling to get the most speed I could then the wave hit. It smashed Lanto and I towards the shore, we were flying. I arched my back, got onto my knees, following every step Ben showed me the day before. Then I stood up, i was up for about 2 seconds which felt like a lifetime as I glided to the shore. But then, disaster, I lost my balance and fell straight off! And continued to do so for the next 5 or 6 waves, I finally got the hang of it once again and was doing very well. But it was time for lunch. I got out of the water, walked up the beach and there to greet me by the hut, was Nana and Colin! Bringing me some pasties, I had a pastie and a few tuna sandwitches then we were off again. The waves had increased in size quite a lot by last time, the tide was coming in. The waves were now massive! The water was littered with jellyfish tickling my feet, we caught a few more big waves and I was on my feet alot more too! Then we headed off home, all burned, tired and rubbed.

Who is this new reporter that you've got? I think he's inherited some of Kay's creative and descriptive characteristics :-) More from Josh please!
