Day 3 of our stay we woke up to misty skies and rain so decided to stay around here and go for a walk.
We walked through the Mangrove Forest from Harura Falls to Waitangi  Treaty grounds. It was an amazing walk about 6kms and we got the Tuk Tuk taxi back to our car.
Day 4 the sun was shining so we decided this had to be the day to go dolphin watching and hopefully for a swim too.  The weather held out although the sea was choppy and made it difficult to go through the Hole in the Rock or to swim with the dolphins. However we saw three large pods all with their young so we couldn't swim with them as the law does not permit it. Fabulous views of the bay and Islands and we got our swim in a boom net off the side of the ship. this was great fun as the boat was travelling fairly fast as we were dragged alongside.....ever felt like a tuna fish????Well it was something like that!!!
Back to our fabulous B&B  The Baystay where our gracious hosts Rob and Nick let us use the hot tub. Marvelous and such great views over the river while sipping our wine.. What a life eh?!!!!!!!

Enjoying your blog. Keep it up. We are snowed in here and would hate to be attempting your Bridgenorth dirve in a car. You made the right decision to clear off to sunny climes when you did. Hope to get to Yorkshire on the 24th for a couple of days. Have a good Christmas and a happy and healthy 2011. Mike and Jean

How lucky you are to be away from the UK and its snow plus freezing, freezing weather.
Looks good where you have been so far. Hope you had a good Xmas and not too big hangover.
We didn`t get your initial reports, Mike sent us the latest, perhaps you can send direct to us.

Continue the good work, and don`t get too sunburnt.!!!!!
