Hey guys,
Sorry there hasn't been much an update (although I don't think anyone's even started to read this).
So, since I got here on Monday, and our visit to the park on Tuesday, we went to the zoo Thursday and finished our Rock-climbing Orientation. So, I'm officially certified to Baley (spelling?) people up. I bought a membership at this awesome campus gym (going to return my YMCA membership tomorrow), since they've got a MASSIVE Gym (twice the size of any gym I've seen), an Olympic pool with Steam Rooms, Hot tubs, Squash courts, an indoor running track, gymnasiums, and this is all besides they're huge fields. I'll have pictures of this soon, as I'd like to include pictures of the bike tracks we'll be going on.
The Zoo was awesome, they had tons of funny animals. I had a freakin peacock jump at me, and had to endure some really stinky primate-areas, but overall it was a blast just to watch Mia May point and the animals and try to name/imitate them. TOO cute, there will be many many many forms of Mia-Media to follow (but no baby porn!)
Will be meeting with Suzanne and maybe Amy and her kids this Wednesday I think, so I'm really looking forward to that.
We also had our orientation over the weekend, which was very shitty since we had to walk for 20 mins to our bus station at 6:30am, then spent the whole day running games and taking in tons of information until 4:30pm every day. There are really some great folks at this camp, so I really do feel lucky that I'm part of it with Heather, we've got such an awesome program coming up (details to follow!).
Left Heather alone for a bit now, so I'll have more later this week,
Sayonara!
