We just drove through Little Havana. I wanted to see what it was like and really wasn't impressed. There was really no place to park, unless you wanted to park on the street. Plus the area around the main street was not very inviting. I read there was this cigar shop that hand rolled there own cigars and provided demonstrations, but oh well. Therefore, we decided not to stop. I did manage to take some pictures has we were driving through. We did also drive through little Haiti, which again was not worth seeing. Well at least I can say that I have been there before if any asks.
Then it was off to Coconut grove to stop at the Cocowalk shops. You either had the option to park on the street or in the parking garage (both you have to pay for). Again, not really impressed we just walked around to see what was there. A lot of little restaurants and cafes around the neighboring streets. It felt like that is a place you would want to go later in the day and at night for the night life. We ate lunch at Bice Bistro, which was good (a little pricey for lunch).
All and all it was a good day just doing some sightseeing and walking around.
