We've seen a lot since we last updated. To finish up Scotland, Katy's cousin and girlfriend took us on a road trip to the highlands, where we drank a pint, walked through Inverness, ate bangers and mash, saw the loch ness (and perhaps Nessie), and explored the creepy fog filled woods. We also finished seeing Edinburgh by touring the castle, the underground tunnels, the royal mile, more museums than you know what to do with, and of course shopping. We also tried haggis and keeps with a Scottish egg! Yeah, we tried it! And it was actually quite tasty! We also tried fried mars and snickers bars that were great! And guess what else we did! Got very lost on the left side of the road many times!... But we always found our way to katy's cousins! After a scary flight to London... (Picture a plane on a roller coaster with us holding hands praying and cursing) we landed in London and the cursing didn't stop there! We got lost, used a Brits cell phone, got lost, had a lady ask if we were alright, got lost, got very lost, did I mention this getting lost was on subways? We snuck on illegally to two trains, and got lost. We asked an elderly Austrian lady which train to get on, she scolded us and told us we didn't do our research, asked where we were from and said she suspected we were Americans, asked us how we got onto those trains without a pass, asked us why we were at the station we were at, stared at the map for a while and found our case hopeless. She told us to follow her and she would drive us to our b and b. We followed her like lost kids and rode trains through the town with her until she put us in a cab and told him where to drive us... The good news is we got to our room. The bad news is it was 4 hours late and our b and b owner had given up on us and gone to bed, causing us to wake her up upon our arrival.
Since arriving in London, we've gone nonstop and seen a ton! Some of the highlights are the beautiful Westminster abbey, the interesting Churchill museum and barracks, big Ben, Harrods ( just for you Lauren!), Buckingham palace and the changing of the guards, and we saw the magma carta and the codex and the Rosetta stone, the London and tower bridge, abbey road, and Piccadilly circus. Our favorite, though, was that we got a private box to see the lion king live! It was incredible- full of beautiful costumes and singing! Tomorrow we are leaving the g20 protestors behind and going to Cambridge!
For those of you counting, we've rain through three train stations and got lost about a million times! But hey, we've only taken 1 200 dollar taxi ride! And, we are so good at the tube we can jump on (while minding the gap) any carriage without even looking where it's going! We are both missing peanut butter (which a fellow b and b guest bought some for us), ranch dressing (which if you ask for it they have no idea what your talking about), and chips and salsa (or anything mildly spicy because apparently spicy warnings here translates into fairly bland or sweet in America)!
So, we hope you fancied our blog! Have a great night! Cheers!

From Dad
Thanks for the update and the call, don't they post info about where trains go, or is it in the Queen's English so you can't interpret it? Sounds like you bumped into an Auntie or Grandma that helped you out. The G20 protestors will march by many of the places you've visited! Maybe they are taking your route?
Love
